A MAG box is a dedicated set-top device. IPTV setup on a MAG device depends on the model, firmware and access method supported by both the device and the active subscription.
Before configuring a MAG box
- Identify the exact MAG model.
- Confirm the device has a working internet connection.
- Use the access method supplied for the subscription.
- Keep account, portal or playlist information private.
MAG box and IPTV subscription are separate
The device is hardware; the subscription is service access. Buying the device does not automatically provide an IPTV subscription.
General setup relationship
Connect the device, open the relevant settings or supported player environment, enter the access information exactly as supplied, then test whether the service loads.

MAG box vs Android TV box
A MAG device and an Android TV box can both connect a television to IPTV, but their software environments are different. If your device uses Android TV, use the Android TV Box guide instead.
Connection problems
If configuration is correct but playback is unstable, test the network separately. Compare Wi-Fi and Ethernet when supported and check whether other internet services work on the device.
