Playlist-style access
A playlist method usually asks for a network address that the application reads to load available items.
Account-style access
An account-style method can ask for a server address plus username and password fields. The player uses those fields to request the subscription data.
Which method should you use?
Do not convert formats unnecessarily. Use the access method your subscription actually provides and the player explicitly supports.
Keep access details private
Playlist addresses, usernames, passwords and similar fields can contain private account information. Do not post them in public screenshots or support forums.
